Relief of bronchospasm in reversible air ways obstruction, especially COPD and in elderly patients, it has also been used in cystic fibrosis.
Usual dose for adults and the elderly is 0.4 – 2.0ml up to 4 times daily. For children aged 3 – 14 years the usual dose is 0.4 – 2.0ml up to 3 times daily. Ipratropium Bromide must only be administered by inhalation from a suitable nebulizer.
